To receive our awesome service we first need to check your address for service. If it's all good, we then install a small antenna on your roof. So give us a call or email and one of our staff will be happy to check your address.

You'll also be happy to know that our antenna serves as a router so you won't need to purchase any other equipment! Cool or what? A cable is run from the newly installed antenna to a power point inside. Once connected to the power, another cable connects our router to your computer - the rest happens automatically. Simple!

Ok simple is great, but just how fast are we?

Very! Technically on our lowest plans (3mbit/sec) we are 65 times faster than dial up's best speed (closer to 100 times faster if you're rural). More generally, at 3Mbit/sec you could download an average music file every 15 seconds. On dial up you would expect to download the same file in roughly 30 minutes!

Righto, so what's it going to cost me?

And what happens if i go over my data cap? I don't want a huge bill!

We understand! What we do is ease you back to dialup speed - well actually slightly faster - 64kbps. We don't like our customers to receive billshock, so you have the option of buying extra data as you go by logging into our customer portal http://my.ubernet.co.nz. Price depends on what speed plan you're on but starts as low as $4.95 per Gbyte.
